210x70mm (3″x8″) Jende Diamond Lapping Films – 3 Pieces

The Jende 210x70mm, or 3 x8″ PSA backed Diamond Lapping Films are available in 10 grits ranging from 80 micron down to 0.5 micron. The same length and width as a full sized sharpening stone, these very durable sharpening films last 5-10 times longer than thinner films on the market, and are attachable to a glass, acrylic, or marble base. Sold in packs of 3 pieces per grit. These films can be used dry, with oil, or with water. We recommend using and keeping them clean with water for the best results. Abrasion resistant steels and ceramic blades are more popular than ever, and often times you will need diamonds in order to effectively sharpen these blades. Of course you can use diamonds on any kind of steel. As a progression, the consistency of the films and grits make the resulting edges more perfect. With 10 available grits ranging from 180 grit (80 micron) to 15K (0.5 micron), these films can be used as an entire sharpening progression, to clean up scratches from diamond plates and coarser natural and synthetic sharpening stones, or for finishing and edge to a mirror finish.
